Regarding Mike Viramontes "grouping"
SOUTH BAY ATTENDEES:
Myself and Melinda Al and Cecelia Mike and Gayle Glenn and Jeanne Jerome and JoAnn Mike was thinking we meet at a location where we could all caravan to Rock House. From 17/280, it's probably 45 minutes (we'll get commuter lanes ). I'm up for that. Knowing "the club" we'll probably want to get to Livermore no later than 9:00AM. Means we need to meet as a 'south bay' group by around 8:00-8:15AM. I have to drop off my daughter to school at 7:30AM. My initial reaction is to simply meet at the Century Theater parking lot just behind Flames Restaurant on Winchester Blvd., directly across from Santana Row. Once all 5 cars are there, we can proceed back onto 280 NB to 680 and into Livermore. If anyone has any other suggestions, please chime in. If the timing doesn't work for any of you, we can simply just drive ourselves to Livermore. Chime in when you get a chance (I don't have emails to any of you so that's why I'm posting.) |

We'd go NB Winchester to Stevens Creek (2 blocks) and head EB on Stevens Creek for about 4 blocks; there's a Hwy.17 entrance, from there you split to either 280/SF or 280/SJ; there's also a 76 gas station on Stevens Creek a block before the on-ramp so everyone can fuel up before Livermore; here's the Googlemaps route: Unknown road to 1848 Portola Ave, Livermore, CA 94551 - Google Maps |
