Who was that in the blue #98 Cobra Sunday morning about 7:30 headed South out Mines Road? That was my wife in the tan Exploder you waved to.

John

I thought you were incriminating someone of flirting with your wife.....I got a chuckle out of it.

Hope the dog's ok....

redmt 10-10-2011 09:48 AM

Actually she didn't say how many fingers the driver waved with. I'd put my wife with her Exploder up against almost any Cobra on Mines Road. She has been known to use most of the road!

rustyBob 10-10-2011 06:29 PM

not me....

Buzz 10-10-2011 07:55 PM

So she was looking at the Cobra (she must have been to see the dude wave) and the fellow gave a friendly wave. What's the big deal???

No big deal. We are fairly remote, anybody heading out this way at that time of the morning would surely be off on a pleasure trip. I was just wondering who it might be? Don't try and read in something that isn't there.

Buzz 10-10-2011 08:16 PM

Maybe you were wearing a benign smile when you typed, but it doesn't translate that way. Others got the same impression.

Look , If it wasn't you don't worry about it. Out of the 10 cars a day we get out here, It's unusual to see something other than a cattle truck or a dust covered vehicle. Seeing a Cobra in our part of the country happens MAYBE twice a year. All I asked was who it might be. Translate it anyway you want.

Buzz 10-10-2011 09:04 PM

And so I did. How's the dog?

Sidekick 10-10-2011 09:09 PM

I read into it that a Cobra guy waved and Redmt wanted to know who owned the cool car belonged to because they don't see cobra's out there much...

I might have waived even if I was in my Kia...it's what I do! And, if it was my wife..she would waive too. I don't even know Redmt.

Buzz 10-10-2011 09:18 PM

You'd wave at red's wife while driving your Kia??!! Now that's asking for it pal! Just kidding!
My wife would probably try to flag him down so she could take a picture.
On her last trip to visit family in Northern Alberta, she went to a car show and struck up a conversation with a couple of FFR guys and got some photos of their cars. Cobras, '74 Trans Ams or any interesting exotics, she will take pictures if at all possible.

What he said,,,,,,, Everybody waves. You never know when the stranger you wave to will stop to help with a roadside emergency. Back country living is different.

rustyBob 10-11-2011 08:31 AM

If your in the back country and your car has broken down and a jacked up 4 wheel drive ford pulls up and stops.....jump in your car and lock the doors....its John.....haha

BossCER 10-11-2011 10:54 AM

Sounded pretty benign from down here in Clovis
