Machining 6 pins
Any body have a recommendation for a machine shop to machine the back spacing on my 6 pin Trigo's? Rough measurement has it at 5/8 inch. Prefer Livermore/Modesto + or - 50 miles.
I should have been a little clearer in that I need material removed. Thanks, John |
Drop by Rock House in Livermore on Saturday and see who shows up; then start asking. I strongly suspect Tony Repei would have a good idea (or Larry). Livermore guys are slightly knowledge but they're better after their stomachs are full. :D

Hi John,
A little late on seeing this post........BUT a few years ago I called Lynn Parks (Trigo) about machining 3/8" off the back side of my 5 pin fronts to get the proper track. Lynn told me that there was NO extra material that could safely be removed from the wheels. Your six pins don't use an adaptor, so they may have enough extra material to allow for what you did-I hope! Good Luck, Jon |
