2012 BACC Calendar - need 5 more shots
Unfortunately I have only received seven shots that I can use for the 2012 calendar. If you would like to submit a photo, please send one to me by next Sunday, November 13th. If I don't have enough, we will revisit a calendar for 2013.
Photos need to be approximately 1 MB (not 1 megapixel), the minimum size the publisher needs to print in an 8x10 format. Cars must be from the Bay Area or at least northern California (thanks to those outside the area who previously sent me some great shots). Please remember that they must be appealing enough for folks (other than you ) to want to view for an entire month. Please, no partially completed cars or ones parked in the driveway and only Roadsters. Let me know if you have a great idea for a location but don't feel comfortable taking the shot - several members might be able to help with their camera. We should have some decent weather days within the next week, so give it a try. Prior "Cars of the Month" are still eligible, just not the same photo, please. Tom BACobraClub@yahoo.com |
Come on guys! I know there is a lot more than 7 guys in this group, please submit a photo if you have not yet this year. It would be shame for everyone, especially the ones that went through the effort to submit them and more importantly Tom who has owned this project and only asks for photos. Please help the club so we all have a calender to enjoy next year!

Just shot you an email, have some pics on Flickr
Hi
I have some pics on Flickr - just sent you email about it, but here's a set. The cars are all Bay Area Cobras, top row is my car (a couple shots have a green one - The Hulk - my builder just finished) Hope you might find one you like, feel free to grab the high res photos off Flickr and use any you like. Just bought this Factory Five with only 140 miles on it.

Gordie - some great shots. Is the silver SPF yours (want to give proper credit)? Whose car and type is the blue one with Webers? It appears that download access is locked - what's the trick to download?
Thanks! - Tom |
Agh - double post - see next post!

Hi,
I didn't think I had download access locked, sorry about that. I had it set for anyone logged into Flickr instead of anyone at all by mistake. Just fixed it, feel free to take any pics! The silver one in the first nine pics is mine, some pics have the info on the builder (Ted Taormina) and the engine (Ford Crate 521 with solid roller lifters, Holley 4 bbl). Note in some pics it looks blue or even copper, due to lighting/sky conditions, it is titanium (silvery metal flake). Not sure what you mean about the blue one with webers - you mean the engine shot? That was the black with gold stripes SPF built by Ted Taormina which had a bored out aluminum small block 427. Unfortunately that car was stolen from Monterey this summer, there was a thread on it here. -- Gordie |
Tom:
I sent you a bunch of pictures individually; appears Yahoo doesn't play nice with 5MB+ files, so you should see 7 emails with 7 attachments. 3 are of Chris's Cobra. You might like a few of the others I sent. |
