Ken Pike in Yuba City

Thank You very much but there must be somebody in the bay area

Dangerous Doug 02-13-2012 05:50 PM

You'll pay a large premium for inside the Bay Area. Ken did my Bad-ass black paint on my ERA. Looked like a mirror, and is holding up great. Still looks dripping wet. Yuba City isn't that far away.

Graphic auto body in Fairfield. Yes, I'm biased because it's my shop. I have an excellent painter. Give me a call and we can chat. Just to warn you though. There is no such thing as a high quality brush touch for rock chips. It's always going to look like a touch up. The only perfect solution is refinish. When you think refinish I always think where do I stop. Not many breaks on a cobra and I'd hate to break a melt in the middle of a panel. But feel free to call and we can talk options.

Thank You for the reply. I did not want a brush touch up all the chips are below the head lights so it would require sanding and paint finishing the only thing that i am very concerned about is paint blending but id should not show if it is done perfect. Thnx. Mike

Blending color within a panel is tough but doable. Hopefully u have a color code to start with. Then u have the issue of breaking a melt mid panel. Not really a good idea because it's where the clear will break down. Not possible to do a perfect melt mid panel. Just go in with yours eyes open.

On my SPF, I've had some nasty paint chips and a big scrape on the bottom (which also required fixing the stripes) fixed by Ted Taormina at Taormina Imports in San Carlos, did an amazing job every time. Highest recommendation from me. Contact info:
