Other Roads
Thanks for the warning. Too bad, Skyline is a nice easy road to cruise. Of course there are many other roads in the Santa Cruz Mtns like San Jose-Soquel. Back in my motorcycle riding days, I rode on almost all of them. One of the reasons for getting my car was to revisit some of them. My favorite is Bear Creek from 17 to 9. There must be some place like Alice's in Boulder Creek?

I agree with Doug on this one. Doesnt seem like its worth it with all the paving going on. On another note, I took my kids to the pumpkin patch over the weekend - it was down towards the end of santa teresa blvd in south san jose. I did notice some roads that looked like they might be fun to drive in that area. Has anyone taken any drives out that way? (in particular, I made a turn onto Baily (I think). looked like it might be worth checking out.

I have been on most of them. Those are the roads I took last weekend to the coast. Also, there is a few roads on the east side of 101 that go Morgan hill down to Gilroy. If you are in Cupertino, it's good to get off at Almaden, head south to Mc Keen and take that to Gilroy/152. You can also go down Camden, take Hicks road back into old Almaden.
