I must say from what I saw at this year's Palo Alto Concours, that sadly korazzon raises some very valid issues. I have never entered a car, nor been through the judging process at the Palo Alto Concours, but I have attended many shows over a very long period of time. It's very sad to see, just like the loss of the Palo Alto All British Show they used to have across from Stanford shopping center.

That being said, at least they held an event and hopefully a more suitable venue can be found and the issues mentioned addressed. It can be a great way to show & enjoy some wonderful automobiles and raise money for charity at the same time. There is a great legacy with this show that is worth saving.

It was fun to have breakfast with a few of the local club cobra guys and walk through the show with knowledgeable car buddies. The owners I spoke with were very nice and there were quite a few cool cars to see. Two cars in particular caught my eye (this is a Cobra forum after all), along with Rich's Lusso, and a piece of history.

Enjoy!

==========

There was one CSX2xxx slab side at the show and it was beautiful!

A 2006 Ford GT in Gulf colors … looks good in other colors as well, but this really stands out.

Ferrari 250 GT Lusso … simply classic.

Not a Cobra or GT … but it is a Ford … a 1939 Ford 9N series tractor to be exact, and right in the midst of the Italian contingent. A beautifully restored and presented piece of American history.

I'm sure you took more pictures but if those are the hi-lights of this event, and if the lack of a crowd in any of those photos are an indication, I'm feeling better about my decision to not go.
