October 20th Day Trip Hey All, Since Danette and I missed the last two car runs of the year, we are planning to do a day trip on Sunday the 20th. So far, there is one other Cobra couple coming. So anyone and everyone is welcome. Of coarse this is weather dependent! We plan to leave Starbucks on Bernal Rd in South San Jose at 9:00am, head over the hill to Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville for 1/2 hr stop Gizdich Ranch, then head over to Phils Seafood for lunch Phil's Fish Market. After lunch 1 1/2 hrs or so, we can do a gas stop back in Watsonville, then head back over the hill to Morgan Hill for a stop at Guglielmo Winery Guglielmo Winery | Santa Clara Valley wineries. Never been here, but had some of their wines at the SJ Italian Festival. We should be there by around 2:15. Hang out then head home. We will arrive at Starbucks around 8:30am for some coffee. It shows 0% chance of rain so far and still fairly warm. Bit chilly in the morning, but should be a nice day. Depending what time we finish lunch, would could always take a ride down to Cannery Row. There is a Taste of Monterey upstairs on the row. Danette and I have been there a few times. Scott |
