Sounds like a SAG-AFTRA gig to me. And rule #1 is No Contract, No Work.

I can be on set for 10 hours maximum starting at 7:00am. I will burn the tires until the tread is removed, but not for more than 6 seconds per run. If I think the set is unsafe, you will have to fix anything I object to or I'm gone.
You hand me a $20,000 cash bond on arrival or I drive away. I don't want your equipment or personnel damaging my car. I'll return $10,000 at the end of the day if the car is ok. |
Guys weren't nearly as serious/cautious at the Spring Fling that I went to years ago. Cobras were doing burnouts all Friday night then all day with passengers.
If you expect $10k cash to seal the deal, it reminds me of a movie quote; "Welcome to Hollywood! What's your dream? Everybody comes here; this is Hollywood, land of dreams. Some dreams come true, some don't; but keep on dreamin' - this is Hollywood. Always time to dream, so keep on dreamin." |

Another one hit wonder. He logged in, posted, and never came back to check for response:
