Can't Wait:

After last Saturdays breakfast I can't wait any long and I'm taking delivery of chassis # 1249 in 2 weeks.

Also I need the name of the company that does the Halon systems in San Leandro I think, I want to have that installed.

Thanks
-Joe

You can install your own halon system. Summit Racing has one for $300 for a 5 lb and about $460 for a 10 lb. both contain Engine and cockpit nozzles and mounting bracket.

Congrats on your dream come true!

HOW CLEAN IS THE INSTALL OF THE SUMMIT??

How clean an install is the Summit Halon system? Do the hoses snake (all puns intended) all over? Do you have any pictures?
Do you have both the cockpit and engine comprtment versions?

Randy Thank you, I called John Leouh (sorry for the spelling) and got in on the GP, he had one 10lb system left.

Jeb,

It comes with all of the Steel tubing so you just by a tubing bender ($9.95) and route it the way that you like. Most I've seen have a nozzle on either side of the firewall. One pointing in the footbox on each side and one at each corner of the firewall pointing at a 45 degree angle forward.

Part numbers on line are:

5 lb. : SSI-RC500P-DTS
10 lb : SSI-RC1000-DTS
:D

The car will ship on the 22nd and the parts from Snake Bite will ship monday. So in a couple of weeks I'll be knee deep in parts.

Well I still don't have my car, it's 10 days late.
Every day it's " The weather is bad, the truck flipped over blah blah blah"
I can't take it, I have a garage full of parts and nothing to put them on. Let's hope tomorrow brings me my baby.

:3DSMILE: If all goes well I should have it done by next weekend, then just a trip to get it aligned and it's time for fun. I'm not sure who I told but my plates will read VPR/KLR (VIPER KILLER) That should tork off the Dodge boys!!:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:
