It's here!
I got the call from Reno. My car is HERE! SPF 1365 Titanium with Indigo blue stripes. I should be picking it up in a week to 10 days.
I'll be a busy boy for the next few months. With my luck I won't get it done untill the rainy season. I decided to go electronic fuel injection for my 427 TP and I'm in the process of building the manifold. I had to work up the courage to take a cutting tool to the 8V single plane Tunnel port intake that I will be using as the base. The injectors will look like a Weber set up utilizing 8 Enderle injector throttle bodies. I also decided to go with a T-56 six speed. I compared the price of a Tremec TKO including the aluminum spacer plate needed to fit the trans behind the FE bellhousing and found the six speed is only about $400 more. I will have to do some minor modifications but nothing too radical. It will be nice having a .80 5th gear and a .62 6th gear compared to the Tremec's .68 5th gear.
