Shelby does it again
I just received the current Mustangs Plus sales issue and it has an article on the new Shelby Eleanor. I looked at an Eleanor clone at the Mini Nats built by Brian Lee. It sure was a nice looking car. (Brian built my Mustang GT350 clone). If you are interested in more info check this website www.mustangsplus.com.

Brian owns Classic Motorsports in Sacramento (actually Orangevale). Several of the Nor-Cal SAAC memebers open track cars Brian has built or prepped. He and the "Classic Motorsports" race team will be at Thunderhill Oct. 26-27. Come on out and see the cars run. Stop bye and say "Hi" we all pit together.
FIA Mike #098 red with white Classic Motorsport '66 GT350 clone PS: Brian's '65 street legal open track prepped white with blue GT350 clone is for sale. For some reason he wants to build a Daytona Coupe to open track. |
Classic Motorsports
Brian builds all kinds of good stuff. He built my daily driver, a 65 GT 350 clone (see my photo gallery), but he's wasn't happy that I didn't want the racing stripes. I wish the car that I open track handled as well as the '65 Stang. With street cars that perform that well I'm dying to drive one of his race cars!

Pete,
Your reason to get a mustang was the same for me. I enjoy driving my daily driver heck it could have been another Honda. Stan |
The Elenor car is a very very pretty car. But have you looked at the prices!!! If I remember correctly they wanted $80K for that thing without any frills.....thats with a SB boys not the 428 that should be in a GT500...and the price goes up from there...I believe you get into the $110,000 range for a full package....sheeze!!! I would rather buy a 65-66-67 350 or 500 and save the other money.
Its still just a mustang not a shelby. Matt |
Yup.....you have early Shelbys and then you have ....they are all still based on another car except his new roadster.
