It was here, now it's gone!
At least I had the car for a week. It was a great drive (after working out the bugs) up from San Luis Obispo. Got home (240 miles later) 8:30 that night, and left for the Snakes to the Lake trip to Tahoe the next morning. What a ride!! Met some great people, saw some wonderful country, and by the time I got home I had put 1000 miles on the new snake!!:D
But, some problems came up (oil leaks, linkage problems, etc) that forced me to have the car returned to the builder (just put it on the flat bed for its trip). Taken as a whole, the issues aren't big, but they have to be addressed, so, I wait again. But I now know what I'm waiting for (what a wild ride!!), and I'll be back on the road within two weeks.:D :D |

Congrats on that new ride! I, too, had teething pains with my SPF. I think it just comes with the territory. But it sounds like you have good support and that's important. A AAA card and a cellphone are certainly worthwhile, even after initial break-in. Here in Ohio, we're savoring the last driving days, at least without N-th degree weather gear (I know, Hal, I know...) |
