Cobras Up the Coast

Does anyone know when this event is going to take place?

Stan, Mike Rosenthal has usually scheduled this event for the first weekend in June which coinsides with the Hotrod show that they have in Novato. I'll let you know if I hear more. For now, I've penciled in the Coast trip on my calendar for that weekend. For those that haven't taken this run before you shold consider holding this weekend open, this is trip you want to take.

So True. This is a great event. Please post as soon as you have a date for the event. I have a new Harley shirt and need to find a cheap six-pack to sooth the savage beasts.

Where can I find more info?

Monster 02-21-2003 12:04 AM

I sent Mike an email yesterday asking if he was planning another Cobras to the Coast. I haven't heard back yet, but I'll post if I hear anything. I did notice that last year , Mike didn't send out his notice until mid-March. I guess we have some time since it is usually held the first weekend in June...............

UPDATE

Well, I finally heard back from Mike Rosenthal, the organizer of the Annual Cobras to the Coast run and due to personal schedule and issues with his Cobra he will unfortunately not be organizing this years run.

Though this is unfortunate, Mike has suggested that possibly someone else could take up the torch and organize this years trip. In reality, I believe that this would be a simple task using the information that Mike has put together routes are done (just need the map from Mike), hotels are up to the participants and we have the contact information....... any volunteers???

This has always been a great fun run and it would be ashame to not to hold it this year.

Let me know and I can get you set up with more information.

Thanks,
Mike "Monster"

Monster,
I don't have time to take on another project this year. However, I know the coast area well and would be happy to assist in organization &/or information. I am pretty new to the Cobra group and was not able to go on trip last year but I would this year. Let me know.

Dave Thanks,

Though we're working on putting together "Tour de Vin" , I have all of the route info from the previous trips and also the hotel info so we may be able to pull both events off since the Coast run is not as complicated as Tour de Vin.

IF we were to have a Cobra's to the Coast run the first weekend in June (June 7-8) how many folks would be interested in going?? We need this count ASAP since it's a little late.

Thanks,
Mike "monster"
