427 Tunnel Port EFI - Who's
SFfiredog
Mike, I'm new to the forum and very interested in your EFI system. The picture were great looks like quite a motor. I am spec'ing an all aluminum block (Shelby's), Edelbrock RPM Performer heads, 10.5:1 compression, Burns 1 3/4" SS headers, Crane's Blueprint Mechanical Lifter Factory Performacne Cam (a copy of the original 427 C3AZ-6250-AA solid cam) and have been investigating using TWM's 55mm (P/N 3000-2125/55 IDA @10 degrees) mechanicals, Bosch or Lucas injectors, with either the FAST or TECs controller systems. What did you use? Since EFI on the BB is unusual, at the very least, heresy to others, who built your engine? I can't find anyone with any experience in building BB Fords with EFI. Pls advise, thanks, BV |
EFI? Firedog built the motor, me thinks. Congrats Rick!

Hello BV,
Take a look in my Gallery for a picture of an EFI set up on a 410 cu.in. stroked 351...Dyno figures - 530 HP 563 ft.lbs. of torque...the torque peaked at 4400 RPM. Mike has a Shelby Aluminum engine sitting on the floor of his garage with the TWM system installed. BTW the spark and fuel controls for my engine are coming from the TEC3 system...you can look at the details at : http://www.verycoolparts.com/electromotive.htm I do not go down the path of BB vs SB since I would have to argue with myself !!!!!!!!!!
