Sears Point Tomfoolery

Greetings

It has come to my attention through one of my road racing partners that Sears Point is available to us on the weekend before ThanksGiving. The run groups will be limited to 20 cars each and of course myself and the other experienced pilotes I know will be pleased to coach anyone who is not intent on scaring us out of our wits. We will have quality track time with very few cars and as a bonus, Sears Point is being resurfaced in August so we will be one of the first groups to be out on yhe new pavement after it is cured... (I didn't know it had been ill...)

I can see it now - Sears Point as a warm up to our swell Dublin Copper Track Thingy in December.....

If you are interested , buttonhole me at breakfast or send me an email, or reply here...

There is a cost involved as Sears is not cheap - $285 for the day. There is a Thunderhill event as well in August, it is only $185....

Let me know and we can parade up there ... anyone not running may wish to jeer ,,, er cheer on the rest of the guys....

Salud

I neglected to mention that we are only talking maybe 2 or three run groups, so the track time is huge... Multiple Drivers per car is ok with us...... We just want to limit the cars to a number where there will be no traffic.....

Steve...

I'm good for a go at Sears Point. I love that track. Question! What open track group are you affiliated with? And is this limited to Cobras.

$285 seems pretty cheap.

Hey Steve,

Sounds good! The only problem is the possibiliy of that wet stuff that falls. Cobras don't like falling wet stuff, but Pony cars sure don't seem to mind.

Thanks,
Randy R...

Mulv, I want in! Is the Thunderhill event with your group or NorCal Shelby Club?

Cheers, Pete C
