Get Together:
Anyone interested in getting together after work during the week in San Jose?
A friend of mine manages the Starbucks @ the corner of Santa Teresa and Snell in San Jose. There is a ton of good parking and I was thinking we could get together for a coffee and BS. Let me know if anyone is interested. |

Ben from Dreamlot in Mountain View (a shop where you can work on your own car if you don't have a place at home to work on it) puts together a parking lot "American Graffitti Parking Lot Party" once a month, with Larry and Loretta providing the music. It's held in the parking lot next to Clark's. If your on 101, you take the Shoreline exit and go up to El Camino, make a left (south) and go about two blocks. It's still in the process of "catching on" so there is plenty of parking. The next gathering is Wednesday, July 30, 6-8:30pm. This is like the Redwood Shores first Wednesday of the month Houlihans's get togethers, only further south down 101. Weather is usually warm, and a good excuse to get the car out of the garage and go for a burger and frys at Clark's.

I Have been trying to get a get together there for months now.
I have asked people from Big dog,City Diner & Happy Days, but no one cared to get it together. I wanted to get a Southbay Breakfast at Baker's Square on almaden next to The Britania arms, & it was not warmly recieved by anyone. Come on Cobra owners, we make up about half of the Cobras at Danville's breakfast , lets get together & make a South Bay Cobra Club. The South Bay Needs a Boost. Let's show some pride for our neck of the woods. If not a breakfast show than how about an after work Starbuck's Coffee meet. Just Food For Thought.................... |
