Let me add my two cents to this thread. First, there is nothing I own, including my car, that is worth my life. I'd turn it over without a word if my life were threatened. Second, given that a car jacker would likely (1) not put on the safety harness, (2) lose control of the beast within a few miles, and (3) either impale himself on the steering wheel or eject himself, it would almost be worth the loss of the car to get rid of such scum. My greatest concern is that the car jacker might take some innocent motorist with him when he crashed.

I have access to mobile GPS systems. one allows you to see in your car from a laptop, the other shows the location of the vehicle. you can also have both features. I am working on the shut down software presently. e-mail if you need info.

In California,with "three strikes" legislation in place,you may not have the option of just giving up the car.Dead witnesses can't send three time losers to visit Uncle Charlie(Manson).
