Trigo Pin Template...
Does anyone in the BACC have one? If so, then could I borrow it?

Are you asking for the torque spec?? the tool that goes into the pins? I have both but I'm not sure what you need. I will be at breakfast tomorrow. let me know if I can help, Mike |

Thanks... The torque spec is 70-80lbs, and I've got both the 1/2" and 12mm hex sockets for my 1/2" torque wrench. What I'm looking for is the template - disk with holes that hold the pins in place, while torque can be applied without mis-aligning the pins. Thanks, Randy R... |
I really don't understand the need for the "Pin Alignment Ring/template. I have 6 - 1/2" studs with the "barrel nuts". With the proper chamfer on the nuts to match that of the "hats" I have had them on and of for various reasons torquing them to 80# each time using "Never Sieze" on the chamfer and threads and wheels go on easily each time. Are some of you having difficulty with wheel fitament?
Be sure to shorten the studs to allow the hex wrench to be fully engaged or you might expand or split one or more nuts. Rick |

You can use mine. It may not fit a SPF (is the spf pattern the same as the Trigo pattern, the wheels are slightly different) Also Mine is a 5 lug on 4.5 and 5 lug on 4.75 with .750" pins. You may have 6 pin .500" studs.
It shouldn't be needed if you already have them installed as the initial fit is the most critical, you won't need to "re adjust" the pins if you put the RF and LF as well as the LR and RR back where they came from. 707.235.6639 (Solano Co.) Very close to Turk. |

All I want to do is check the torque. That's it, but I don't want to mess up the alignment. The alignment is perfect - my wheels fit fine. If I can do that without messing up the alignment, then I'm happy. That's why I'm under the impression that I should put the template on the pins before torqueing them. The template will keep the pin alignment in place while I torque them - or at least that's how I understand it... If I'm missing something here, then please let me know...ok? Thanks, Randy R... |

Do I understand you correctly, you have a 6 pin, bolt on, pin-drive adapter? With what kind of wheels? Do you use original pattern wheels? |

Your are correct. You can knock the pins slightly out of alignment by torquing them. If you do and dot have a template, you might find yourself not being able to put the wheel back on. Craig |

You could slightly change the pin alignment if you really hammered them. 75-80 lbs gradually applied shouldn't change things. Have we decided the 6 pin trigo and 6 pin spf wheels are the same stud pattern? Just curious. |
