Snakes To The Lake A Huge Success
1 Attachment(s)
Snakes to the lake 2003 was a great success!!
I am a newbe at the cobra trips and I must thank all who help organize this event. It gave my wife and I a chance to get involved with all of the great people I have met in the last year I have had my car. Every one that was there was VERY friendly and happy to invite us into the group, my wife and I had a great time, and met some great people Friday night the dinner cruise, Saturday the cruise around the lake and lunch at sunnyside inn, then the party and the corporal car duster award LOL then Harvey’s casino. Sunday the ride through Jackson and lunch. There were no tickets, no accidents and the only mechanical failure (out of 50 cars) was Mike (MQNSTER) rear suspension, but I heard all is OK. I guess he will take the place of Larry of the guy who always has car trouble. You can bet your last buck that I will not miss this trip next year. Thanks to FFROG and BACC for a GREAT event. Mike:LOL: |

Mike...are you coasting downhill in that first picture or is the motor really running?
Looks like you had a great time.... George |
George,
I could not be more happy with the motor that you built:D :D If I ever need another you and Neil will build it. The carbs still stumble a little but I just Accelerate past it and it pulls so hard I forget all about it. I have never had it past 5000 RPM, I don't need too:3DSMILE: George thanks again. |
Mike...I'm really happy for you guys being able to make some of the Cobra events...you had a very long wait with all the things you had to do...the ERA you built is absolutely beautiful and I know you'll be very happy with the continuing experiences...
They never end.....the looks...the pride in driving an awesome car...the sound of the pipes....the washing/waxing/polishing and just having it in the garage on a rainy day....just to admire! Have a great fall fun season and enjoy! I'm off to the Run & Gun in two weeks with mine and two Mustangs....watch for us in Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford Magazine next year...hahahah George & Crew (Neil said to say hello...) it's OK to go over 5000 now... |
