DMV director
Wednesday headline
"Schwarzenegger appoints new DMV director" Some person named Cnon Gutierrez supposedly is replacing Steven Gourley. Quote"Gourley and the DMV did not return calls Tuesday to Associated Press." WELL DUH??????? The REALLY bad part is that on the same day Maurice Johannessen (father of SB100) announced that he was resigning his post at Veterans Affairs. Now THAT would have been a very good transfer for him,,,,,, and us. If only. Rick |
Rick,
Thanks for the info! I haven't been following the news lately. I'll be forwarding a letter to our new Director. Hopefully we'll have someone that can work with the issues at hand regarding our Specialty Constructed Vehicles in California. - Bill - |
Maurice Johanessen was fired. He deserved it. I appreciate him letting us in on his personal Cobra registration scheme, but he did it for himself (he owned a Lonestar and now a CSX). But after his behavior in 2001 on the state budget, becoming a traitor to his party and lying to his constituents (including me) He never deserved appointment to Secretary of Vetrans Affairs, a pay-off from the former govenor for the job he did scewing the rest of us.
Personally I hope they keep the hatchet swinging... |
