Help with bay area CHP vin # verifacation
I need to get a CHP Vin # verification done on my ERA can some one point me in the right direction, so I don’t go mindlessly wandering around the CHP voicemail system%/ Also I need a bond please help

It was good talking with you Saturday. I've had no luck so far on the bond. As far as the CHP goes just call your local office and they will get you pointed in the right direction. I'll be going in Monday morning. Good Luck, Steve |

Are you house hunting or breakfast in the AM? Call the Dublin/Pleasanton CHP, they are your ticket.....you know what i mean. curtis Is that 'Bond'?, 'James Bond'? |
Look in the yellow pages for bonding companies. They may also be listed under automobiles. I just got one for my car. It was not cheap.

Just make sure the DMV give you the property paperwork prior so you can visit the CHP and get the VIN in one trip. I ran into delays with this.
The other thing was the CHP was able to use my serial number on the frame and body which is SPF1498 which is now also my vin number. I'm not sure if ERA has this type of numbering set up but it will keep you from having to place one of those blue badges the CHP normally uses. |

Which CHP office did you visit?? I've got the paperwork ready, but the car isn't running yet to have the CHP and BAR inspections done..as a matter of fact, I have to get another extension!!! :-(( Just noticed that your car's SPF number is only 24 away from mine and you probably live about 20 min south from S.F. .... SMALL WORLD SOMETIMES!!! |
