It seems unusual for so much interest to be on these cars. I think back to a thread by bobl early last year. It caused quite a stir and got pretty ugly. I will look for it and post it here if I find it.

DOT... DMV and bonding?
I'm not sure how many of you saw this when it was posted. it got pretty ugly. As it happens bobl is a car builder and a pretty astute guy. He took a lot of flak for this post. I made a big deal out of the BS associated with SB-100. I think I am beginning to see the real reason for the "one time" inspection at the BAR for cars like mine which have been registered and smogged for a good long time.
