That's pretty cool, yet it also makes me feel like big brother is watching. I still have to wonder why they made me hook up the cobra just to get labeled as a gross pollutor for SB 100. I hope they don't pull the rug out from under us in the future ... politicians can change their minds in a split second just to grab some extra votes. Gene |

Mine says "I" too. I actually think it stands for "incomplete." I recall that when mine was tested the machine kept telling the guy to do the test over. He did it 2 or 3 times and eventually gave up thus the incomplete.

That's not good, when I did mine they finished and I got my sticker so I should be a pass?

I got a sticker too but I don't think that really means you passed. Under SB100 you're smog exempt regardless of the reading on the machine. When I took mine in the power valve was too low and the think was running really rich at idle. I was afraid the reading on my car was so high that the machine couldn't even read that high thus the machine kept telling the operator to run the test over. Who knows though. It's all just speculation on my part. In any case, I got the sticker and I'm legal.
