Got my title...looks a bit weird...

My title arrived in the mail and in looking it over, I see two things that may be problematic. In light of the title problems others have had, I'd like to know if any of these could be a flag down the road.

1. Yr/Model 0000 SPCNS
(I understand SPCNS, but 0000?)

2. Yr First Sold = 2002
(I'm the 2nd owner, the MSO shows it was first sold to the previous owner in 1981)

Any of this an issue?

Sounds just like mine.

If it was registered under SB100 in 2002 that would be correct for year first sold because that is the first time the car was titled as SPCNS.

OK good.

My paid fees are low due to the fact that what I bought was a frame and body in rough shape. I was concerned that it might get flagged due to low fees paid and newer model year.

Does yours also say 0000 for yr/Model?

How did they determine the value of your car?

Greg tripp 09-11-2006 04:06 PM

"0000" is what you want!. It means no year assigned to the vehicle!. IT DOES NOT mean year "2000". It means registration is based on what the vehicle represents, or a "1965".

Congratulations!!!!!!
Greg

Ah, that makes more sense. I still think it's odd that nowhere on the title does it state that my car is a 1981 West Coast Cobra.

It should just have spcns and vin #. Thats all they care about. You don't want any other info on the registration!

The 0000 year designation is on mine as well.
