Who has an SB100 from San Mateo Area?
Who has an SB100 from the San Mateo area and which DMV office did you use? Also, if you are going to get an SB100, which office are you going to use. I think a team effort on this with a pre-visit to the office to tighten up their procedures may be helpful for all of us.

I received a number in 2004 from the SM office. It was a slow process with two other guys that first morning. Hopefully they have improved their process. Obviously you could head to Daly City or RWC if SM doesn't work.
Pre-visit is the way to go once you have made your on-line appointment.

I used Corta Madera in Marin. They were super knowledgeable, had a seperate waiting area and 2 people helping 6 of us last year, we all got numbers at the same time, 10am. Might have been sooner except for the storm damaged Sacramento phone lines. 3 of us were in the parking lot at 7am, the other 3 came at 8am. They came outside to give us special numbers at 7:45am. It was super easy. Good luck.

Santa Clara seems to have their act together. Me and 8 other SPCN's were in various portions of the line (I was last) but when the doors opened, one lady asked specifically if anyone is doing SB100; we all raised our hands and she guided us towards one lady who handled only us for the duration of about 3 hours total. Great little system they had.
