Had a great time at the lake PICS Added
For all of us who braved the nasty morning weather, congrats. No one can call us wooses. The Lake was cooking and HOT. We went from wet cold in the morning to 80+ degrees at the lake. Howard and his wife Mary and friends set up an incredible BBQ and I doubt anyone went away hungry. We had in all 23 cars. Ten form us norcal folks and 13 from the southern folks. Most were various Cobra replicas with a Shelby GT350H and Two Cobra Mustangs, oh and we can't forget the Honda that tagged along. I met a bunch of new friends, visted with old friends and had a great time. For those who copped out because of a little morning drizzle, you missed a really great time. All in all. considering the weather, it was a great showing. Howard actually had a professional Photographer there to take pics of the cars.
Well our next trip planned is a cruise down Hwy 1 to Big Sur for lunch. For the Southern folks it will be a trip up Hwy 1. We will meet in the middle at Napenthe restaurant for lunch. Date still to be determined, so if anyone has a date in mind, through it out there. Hope to see you all then. Mike |
