I thought I'd start a thread for those who want to drive up 80 to the WSCB. We could leave Kohl's parking lot (@Monument Blvd. exit) around 10:00am on Thursday the 15th, and stop at Ikeda's for lunch in Auburn and then head up to Reno.

I'll be coming from SF and plan on meeting you at Kohl's in PH at 10am. 80 is easier ... with lots of gas stations. :eek: My cell is 415-370-7654, although I won't be able to hear it ring! :D

Looks like we will be planning on stopping in Auburn at Ikeda's for lunch (12-1PM?) if any other BACC/NorCal cobras want to meet and go the last leg with us.

Dave and Ron,my name is Nelson can I tag along with you guys to the WSCB that if you don't mine,I'll be driving solo on my FFR.Dave what time are you leaving San Jose I would like to hook up with you before heading to Kohl's @ Pleasant Hill.

Nelson, you're more than welcome to drive up with us. I'm going to leave my house in Saratoga at 8:30am. I'll get to Kohl's around 9:30am...time for a pee and stretch before leaving at 10am. Did you want to meet somewhere along Highway 17? If you came up 85, we could meet at the Jack in the Box at Camden and 17.

I've driven that route many times and it's a blast, especially over Carson pass. I need to minimize my folded pretzel pose so I don't cramp up too much. Cobras were not designed for people with 34" inseams! See you up there, we'll have a great time.....take lots of agua.

I am leaving here in the very early afternoon - and heading up 80. I may pass through Auburn at around 1:30 or so.....may see you all then.

I'll be on 80 that day as well, though heading out a bit earlier (and likely driving a lot slower). If you guys see a red '93 lightning towing a 24ft enclosed, that's me. I don't tow often, and have never towed with this trailer (Joe C's trailer) so I'm taking my time getting up there.

Cell is four 08-230-776 three. I'll have tools, and an ice chest full of frosty beverages...so if the time is right and either become a need, give me a buzz. :)
