Wine Country Classic - 2008
Anyone going this Saturday? Another SPF and I would enjoy meeting up with folks coming up from the Peninsula/SF. We will be parking in the Shelby Corral @ Sears Point. Looking to be there early in the 9 AM hour.

Tom - I'll be there Saturday and Sunday and will be parking in the Shelby Corral, but probably arriving a little later, with a co-pilot. Look forward to seeing you then and on July 12th.

Chuck - you need to immediately check with Fred Schwartz who is managing the Corral. You can find him at: Wine Country Parking Corrall. I am not sure what arrangements he can make at this time and whether Corral passes are still available.
I am working out the details of a place to meet on Saturday. I am meeting my buddy in the Sunset District so we might meet along 19th Ave. or Vista Point just on the other side of the Bridge, especially if you come up 101. Time and exact location to be determined. We can exchange cell numbers off line. Tom |

Chuck - let's plan at meeting at 8 AM at the Northeast Corner of Junipero Serra and Mercedes/Winston in SF. There is a frontage road (to Junipero Serra) at that location where one can wait off the road. Junipero Serra is the slight right turn where 280 turns into 19th Ave. at Parkmerced Mercedes is a couple of blocks north (Mercedes turns into Winston to the west of Junipero Serra - Winston is the street that one would use to turn into Stonestown shopping center).
Others are welcome to meet us there (post here if you plan to) or we can meet you at Vista Point on the other side of the GGB - again let us know if you want to meet there or we will just drive on by. Tom |

Chuck, Doug, Tom. I may have an extra entry pass to tomorrow's event. Does anyone need it? I will not be driving my car tomorrow, but will be riding shotgun in a red Cobra. We will try meeting you guys at the S.F. location mentioned above for the caravan up to the racetrack.

Gene - there is a 95% chance that a friend and his son in their Healy 3000 MKIII will be joining us at 19th and Lincoln. They may need a ticket - if so, thanks.

I had a great time at the Wine Country Classic today! There was an excellent cross section of cars in the Norcal SAAC corral and lots of vintage racing to enjoy.
