SPF 2734 is here!!!!
Well guess what unloaded this AM. -- SPF 2734!!!!
More news as it happens- --Steve |
Exhaust
Is your car an under-car exhaust car? If so, what diameter pipes will you be using?
Juan |
Yup - Under-Car. the pipes that came with it look pretty good. still unpacking the box - o -goodies that it came with. (its blanket and food bowl)
I imagine that I will be using 2.25". --this is OK, as I am making a nice street car with a 302 form factor engine (327-331 cu) . Strange things; I think the car came with the 4 pot wilwood rear calipers....., more news later. I drove a friends 427 FE ERA with sidepipes yesterday-- and at WOT you cant even hear yourself scream. |
Steve,
Congratulations! That was pretty quick, can't wait to see it in person. Saw the photos you posted, a very clean looking car, great color combo. So .... what are you going to stuff under the hood ? :) Tim B. |
Mine too
My Superformance (SPO 2891) is at sea at the moment. Should be in the US July 4.
Also a street roadster, no stripes, no scoop, no rivets, under car exhaust and hard top. Mine is getting a 331 Stroker also. Juan |
Congratulations! Best of luck.
My engine was dropped, I mean, nestled into the engine bay just yesterday. I'm looking forward to getting it out on the road. |
Rod, Keep track of what song is playing on your radio when you fire it up for the first time. it has a soul reaching effect on the car.
My 1964 1/2 mustang convertible fired up to "Sunshine of your love" by Cream. --if you go read the lyrics it fits well. Frog, I hear yah, nice car, no scoop , no hoop, no lankle warmers. The power plant in 2734 is going to be a BOSS block (new boss block) 302 sized engine that will be at about 327ci. (stock bore to preserve the block, but 3.25 stroke) nice roller cam, x303 heads, and 1993 cobra EFI manifolds with a TTC 4615 trans. -- goal is a civilized weekend car that I can afford to fill up and keep for the next 30 years or so along side my various antiques. |
Nice looking car. Can't wait to see it in person. There seems to be a lot of Cobras here in San Jose.
Scott |
Congratulation Steve!! Look forward to seeing you out on the road.
|
COOL CAR!!! can't wait to see her. Congratulations!!, I like the color combo...Different.

That beige interior looks great! It has to be cooler on a hot day also. Love the Street look!
|
