Falafel Drive In Lunch... great little GTG for me at least.
I went to Falafel Drive-In on Stevens Creek today to meet up with TKB289 and Dangerous Doug. Got there early and while waiting, I saw someone that looked familiar... it was my ex-boss from 8 years ago! He was with his dad. We both spied each other; I knew he looked familiar and then he shouted out my name! So we had a good 10-15 minute talk covering the last 8 years. Then Tim and Doug show up so we order up a falafel sandwich and man that was good.
We then convene over to my FFR and then Scott ( scooter), his brother and a co-worker walk over and dissed my FFR as a Vette!!!!! ;) I didn't recognize him w/o his Harley cap on!!! :D I helped Tim load up the engine hoist into Doug's Jeep before heading back to work. I didn't know this joint drew in such great people!!!! Have to go there more often. |

Great to see you at lunch, my first time to Falafel Drive-In, the food was very good. Thanks for the help getting the hoist into Doug's Jeep, it's 'portable', but just barely! Scott certainly had you going there for a moment when he asked you about your 'Corvette' and you did not know right away who he was :cool: Doug and I enjoyed the sound of you car as you took off, very nice indeed. That was a good time, guys. You could probably tell by the increasing line as we ate that the Falafel Drive-In is a popular place for lunch. Always good to swap Cobra talk, and with mine still under construction it was great to get a dose of Cobra rumble as Herman took off. We'll do it again. Next time, maybe we can take over the parking lot with Cobras...

np. I actually got that very same question from a Miata owner! Never mind the fact it says "Powered by Ford" on the side!
heh, I did get a hint of tire smell after a 'small' WOT launch while leaving. :D |
