Sorry to hear about all the kids AND adults not using any sense at all. I always felt there was some sense of having respect for peoples cars.

Maybe it's time to rope off the cars?

Good to hear it was not something than a gasket and a dowel pin.

Doug/Chuck,

Thanks for posting the pics.

Wow, I've been to a similar "city" show during a Summer Italian Festival in San Mateo several years ago. Same situation happened with a kid climbing up on a Cobra side pipe and bystanders wanting to try the "knock" test on the cars. Not fun and relaxing when you have to be a cop around your own car 24/7. I can't tell you how many finger prints I left with that day, but I was very thankful there were no scratches considering how many strollers and bicylces were beside my car.**) The one bright spot that day was leaving with a Best in Show trophy.

Scott, I'm glad you kept your cool......the uneducated car crowds are hard to handle.

Greg, I'm glad you got your car fixed. I was there when the other head gasket let go in Nov. 07.

Thanks Gene. I was trying to remember when that was. ;)
