Can any share some picture?

Don't have pics but Cobra Valley sells a slick suction cup mount that I use with my Passport 8500. Should also work with a Valentine. It stays put and I've never had a problem with it. $20 + shipping.

Good thought Red, but the Valentine has two antennas one forward and one back. I think you will have to put it up on the visor in front of you so that it will be unobstructed to the rear. I never used a radar detector in my Cobra because:
A- it is way too loud to hear the warning
B- the car can be somewhat distracting to drive so looking at the display would have had my insurance company spending money
C- Some little pr@#K will steal it if you park and leave it in the car

I have a V1 and it is the best thing I ever bought to avoid the beige suited tax collectors, but I only use it in my quieter cars...

Try the Visor, if you wrap some cotton around it you should be able to get it thick enough for the visor clip... :)

I was able mount the V1 using their own suction cup mount to the windshield with a 2 1/4" foam support the V1 base and has a good view from front and rear antennas

I mod my V1 with different LED in order to see different bands, and loud enough to hear
I remove the V1 while not in use

A. I'm running 3" ID mufflers and even with ear plugs I can hear my Passport no problem.
B. Car is more distracting to other drivers. I've already contributed to two bumper benders as a result. :3DSMILE:
C. Never had a problem leaving the car anywhere and coming back with stuff missing. Plus it's so easy to unplug the unit and lock it in the trunk.

Tan, glad you came up with a workable solution.
