Maybe it is me but I couldn't find an asking price anywhere. Is it one of those
if you have to ask - forget about it deals?

dont get me started on the details on that car.really -- interstate battery, air cleaner stud is too long, air cleaner looks like cheap repro, air filter is a fram piece , rivets on AC ID plate look suspect, alternator is wrong for the car, fuel line to carb is a cheezy mr gasket piece, plug wires are MSD, stant rad caps-- and the CA plates have been repainted "black and gold " to look vintage.

ugh. go buy a SPF or Kirkham.

Really? You see, that makes the car....a "driver". ;)

When you buy it and put it on display, you can re-install all that "period-correct" stuff.

I've emailed them to see if I can look at it.

Uh, no, I'm not in the market ($$$$$$$$$$). It looks very similar to my 289FIA (black with chrome roll hoop). I'd just like to look at it and talk with them about it.

Dangerous Doug and I visited Canepa today to see the museum. Doug asked about the CSX2521 and Sean (who works at Canepa) ended up showing us the car and giving us an all access tour of the Canepa facility. Nice car...after they fix the stuff Steve pointed out.

I don't even think I caught the price...I was too busy wandering around looking at other cars. Maybe Doug knows. :D
