SB100 - Brake & Lamp

My Superformance is in for the brake and lamp inspections and the man has 3 different issues. He is looking for back up lights, emergency lights, and a brake proportioning valve. I'm looking for help in verifing that these items are not required. He is doing his homework as well, but I would like to make sure he comes to the correct conclusion. So.......HELP.

I can maybe understand the BUL's and the EFL's

---but what the Freeek about the valve>?

BULs are std 1966 forward, and EFL's were required in CA from 3/66 production onward.

so if you stay in 1965 , technically, you are safe and Lyndon Johnson is president.

most modern master cyls have a valve internally ..so is he running part numbers >?

Jerome,

Call Eddie at Park Versona Automotive, 374-0140, he is in Campbell. Stan Amrosy just had his brake and light inspection there with no problems. I just had him smog my car yesterday with no problems. They are taking some time off over the holidays, so if you need it soon call today.
