Tech Shop - Menlo Park
Is anyone a member at the Tech Shop in Menlo Park?

I am a member, but haven't taken any courses yet. I am close to taking a MIG welding class. Sounds like they have some interesting equipment there. Rich

actually the Tech Shop in Menlo Park is a do it your self shop that you pay a monthly or yearly fee to have access all the equipment. I was looking to see if anyone else is making anything there. I'm doing some 1/10 scale RC Cobra bodies (on the vacuum forming machine), some set up dies (on the CNC Plasma cutter), some vinyl graphics, and maybe some other little thing-a-mobobers.

a friend gave me a tour of that place. pretty cool. you can just about make anything there. and if you don't know how to, they'll have a class to show you. they also show you how to operate the equipment properly and safely. neat place. i have'nt tried it yet but maybe someday.
