New Owner
Just purchased a 2001 Midstates Cobra with a small block Chev stroked and bored 406 ci, mated to some form od GM automatic. Would like to find out more about this car, serial number 35502-2N-S177FF production date is 3-30-01.
The seller was hightly motivated and had to sell the car so I bought it very very cheap. The car is really very nice, no cracks or blisters, decent upholstry, new Cobra tires, runs strong and hard. Brasscarguy, congrats on getting a good deal. Hope you've got ballz-o-brass cause you're gonna need them. You're in for endless harrassment for the Chevy running gear, but you'll find that there won't be all that many people want to tangle with you, except for those guys that spent the huge dollars necessary for their FoMoCo powered cars to go fast.
Just remember to be sure the car is going straight before applying a bunch of power, then, stomp and steer. |
Welcome to the Dark Side. Don't let the "Ford only in a Cobra" guy's get you down. They are just upset that all they will ever see of your HotRod that is shaped like a Cobra will be your tail lights.
