EM Gastanks

Was curious as to what type of gastanks all of you with EMs have, the modified steel Camaro tank ,or the aluminum.I have the steel but don't like the look from the rear of the seams. EM wants over 700$ for the aluminum!
Thanks,

Tom

I have the aluminum tank from E-M. Having an LT1 I found I needed an in tank pump. (or at least an intank pusherpump to assist an external pump). I was using NOS external pumps and burning them up on a regular basis at $200 a pop. I installed a stock vette pump which required a hole be cut in the top of the tank for installation. A good alternative is a tank from a company which i forget the name of. Rockriver or something like that. They build a custom aluminum tank with the pump in it for about $800. If anyone is interested I will find the name and address of the company.

Cobra2,
I'd be interested,do you think they'd make one without the internal pump for any less than EM is getting for theirs?

Thanks,

Tom

Ratsnake. It's possible that they may make it cheaper than em but I'm not sure . I'll find out what i can and post it.
