Ride quality
DV, Please stop me if I am about to do something foolish. I have just discovered what appears to be jacking screws on rear springs.Car is now perfectly level with 27 inches height on all corners and leaves straight and true, So of course I would like to mess with a good thing. Are these springs adjustable and will turning them effect ride stiffeness. It does ride like a go cart. Will shocks mentioned in prior post give a softer ride? Or do I need to replace springs with "Blue" ones?
Or leave the dam thing alone and stop whining? Seriously when I hit bad stretch of road I am afraid of doing body damage, I already have one good spider crack in the paint. |
not ride stiffness, only ride height. Stiffness is a function of spring rate and shock valving.

Why mess with a good thing? .....Because! :)
B,
CobraEd is pretty much on the head. If you do want to mess with it, definately up grade to Blue COils and the Pro shocks- Then you can really start to mess things up! :D DV |
Thanks guys ,Why mess with perfection. I'll just suck it up and start planning the next paint job. Taking it to the track for the first time next week. It launches great but really lacking in HP. Hope to catch high thirteen something.
