Sorry to do this but can someone give me direction a black vinyl type material that can be used for spats on a CRII?

James,
I've got some supported non woven vinyl, simulated leather pattern.
I was going to make spats myself until I decided to leave it raw.
PM me your details and I'll ship it out.

I used the black static cling from finish line on my black SPF. Perfect!!

James,
Don't know which stuff you were referring to. Mine is car bra material, not the static cling type. It would have to be cut, sewn with a hem and whatever method of attaching behind the door and in the wheel well (snap, vel-cro).

Rodneym/ goopie, Thanks for your responses. My preference is kiss (keep it simple stupid). I like the idea of the cling film but I have heard that the stuff blows off with speed. I have read that some people use cling film for numbers, etc. rodneym I will pm you with my details if I hear the cling film doesn't work.

I use 3M paint protection film for mine and recently removed it. After 44,000 miles there were one or two places where the film had been penetrated by larger stones but the rest of the paint was in really great shape. Even in the areas that had been penetrated the damage was less severe than a normal stone chip due to the protection offered by the film. The spats have been redone and, just like originally, from 10 feet away you would only notice them if you were looking for them.

Don, Thanks for your response. The 3M film you refer to is clear, right? I think the area is a little buggered up at this point to just cover with clear film.

Jim:
Yes, the 3M I use is clear and yes, any already damaged areas will show through.
