Soft Top
I am new to this forum. I bought my Classic Roadster in June 1991 from Classic Roadsters Ltd. in Fargo. Worked on it for a couple of years and then put it in storage until November of this year. At the time I purchased the car, I also got a number of options like roll bar, headers, cooling package, gas tank, front sway bar, custom dash, heater package, VDO gauges, chrome side pipes and Hartz cloth top. My top has been stored in the original box and still in perfect condition. I have quite a bit of literature on the car and one in particular was a letter from them that was titled "Drill fixtures for convertible top/window mounting". In the letter they indicate they have a couple of drill fixtures that they lend out to car owners for locating the holes to be drilled to mount the top. There was a $500.00 refundable deposit required to order the fixture. I never followed through and eventually they went out of business. My question is there anyone that may have this "drill fixture" or template for drilling those holes? Rick P.S. I do have an extra set of headers for a 351W.

Thanks Tcrist (Terry) for your reply. I did what you suggested but was unable to get any information. It appears that DV is an expert on the Classic Roadster as he has built a number of these cars. I might try to contact him directly. I also have a question about roll bar installation. Back in 1992 I attempted to mount the bar. I cut two square holes in the package tray behind the seat to expose the frame and tapped three holes in the frame. But, for the life of me I can't remember how the bar was to be attached. The assembly manual doesn't address the roll bar installation. There must have been seperate instructions that I have lost. I have been reading posts about roll bar installation and everyone recommends they be welded to the frame. I would like to just bolt it and I could probably fabricate brackets. Just wondering if anyone has bolted their roll bar and if they have any pictures of brackets they used.

Chromed metal protection for superformance rear fenders
Hi.
I just join your Club today. I live in FRANCE (Europe). A few days ago, I bought a marvelous COBRA REPLICA SUPERFORMANCE MK3, in California. The car is now on the see to join me near Paris. The car is like new, but the rear fenders present some little stone shocks. In order to hide them, and to have a protection from new dammages, I want to put on the fenders a CHROMED METALLIC PROTECTION, as we can see on most of the british replicas. Superformance only sells nylon protections (3M for exemple), that I dont want. Does somebody knows where I can found the CHROMED PROTECTIONS I nead, matching perfectly with my Superformance MK3 ?
