Is there a gas sending unit that works on the cobra tank that uses AN fitting?

I am going to run a fuel injected 5.0 and need to do the plumming.

Is there a gas sending unit that works on the cobra tank that uses AN fitting?
Is the sending unit a universal type of sending unit?

Otherwise does anyone have a idea how to make the transition from the sending unit to the -6AN fuel line?

OEM's utilize clips in their fuel lines for quick disconnect, they requir specialized toold for disassembly. Ford uses them on the 5.0 fuel rails and other place for sure. If you want to attempt to modify the pump assembly it will require welding a male AN fitting to the pump assembly.

Rick, I have the special quick disconnects for the fuel rails.. This is concerning using a Classic Roadsters gas tank and utilizing AN fittings. Thanks

Make sure you ground your gas tank. Or your sending unit won't work.

Not a big deal. There are a couple of companies that make a fitting especially for this application. One end connects like the stock Ford fitting. And the other end has an AN male fitting. Call Mike Forte, and he'll hook you right up.
