DV's Wendy....

A new record! For us anyway. Three hours after surgery, instead of the-longest- 7 hours. Or the previous one of 4 hrs. ,Wendy is out of surgery. No lobotomy was needed. She is already awake and talking normally. She is able to move her left extremities. It will be a couple of days before we will know all, but in the mean time, thanks to all of you for being a part of our extended family! DV |

Wow,
Seems like forever. Wendy is HOME! So much had to be done before coming home. She now is finally standing on her own, moving her felt hand arm and fingers. Memory is starting to bet better everyday. Things really get ugly after three surgery's; recovery is longer, muscle control is worse, cognitive thinking goes out the window, but....she has once again made it past all of that. Dad, well, not so much! Club Cobra -all of you- have made this almost tolerable! Thank You. DV |

That is great news DV and time will certainly help. I will have her in my prayers and hope for a complete recovery. Take it easy and try not to worry to much, though I know that is not possible.
