Knowing my luck, he is a OSU fan. Go BLUE, have to get that out before we go further.

Yes, where in Ohio are you.

Ed, if you are going to make a trip - I might be able to make the same run and help out.

:D

Buddy,
I'm here already! In ohio anyway. (Watching Wendy while she recovers from the Houston Surgery) Nothing I'd like better right now than to help a Cobra guy out and play with another Cobra to relax the mind!

If SGR does want help, it would be absolutely great if you could steal some time!

In Marysville, OH. If anyone is in the area, some assistance would be greatly appreciated. This is my first kit build.

FYI...definitely not a OSU fan. Favorite team is the Mountaineers. 2nd favorite team is who ever is playing OSU that week.

I KNEW I LIKED THAT GUY! :)

Trularin, Marysville is just a skip and a jump from the original Flings! In fact you probably drove through Marysville to get to the Fling. It's also closer to you by 45 miles than the Fling. By all means, if your of a mind...come on down!

Good luck you guys, this is what this forum is all about. I had plenty of help with my build 13 years ago and the guys on here were a great help. Keep digging SGR once you get past this hurdle you will find a few more until you sit back and think "dang, I didn it". Anyone want to go for a ride?

I don't have these rubber strips. The manual says to place 1"x1/4" strips of weatherstrip on the frame. Is this the rubber strips you are referring to?

How hard is this rubber? Are talking hard like a tire or hard like a polyurethane suspension bushing? I can order the rubber, but need to know what hardness to get?

Thanks guys.

SGR, trularin has a Lone Star cobra. Different build, different issues.

When a forum thread is posted/updated it will also show up on the front page so others can see all the recent posts... Sometimes people hope onto a thread and post something (not realizing that they are on a different manufacture’s forum.
