Replacement Wiper Blades
1 Attachment(s)
I used to use the Trico 11-1 which was a perfect fit.
It seems that they moved production to Mexico and now the current 11-1's are way too loose to fit on the stock CR arms? What are you all using that works? Thanks, Mike |
Mike:
I use Anco N-12R to replace the rubber portion of the wipers in my ERA. I just slide the old blade portion out and slide the new one in. They have to be trimmed slightly with a razor blade but they work well. I change mine out every season. DonC |
Thanks, Don
I need at least one entire blade for the attach point. Then I cold look at the rubber only. Thanks, Mike |
Shoot an email off to Bob Putnam at ERA and find out what they use for their wiper assemblies. Might give you a starting point.

Mike,
Just a guess, but I would bet your original arms have a bushing mounted into the head? If your wiper shaft is only +/- 3/32's in diameter you need the bushing! (usually held in place to the wiper shaft by an allen screw.) DV Ps. Looked up an old a set of NOS- we used ANSCO 41-01. Comes with all spacers for small or large shaft, even has a new stainless nut for the screwed ones that are bolted on. Completely adjustable for the proper height and also to be put absolutely perpendicular to the bottom of the windshield frame. Might be better ones but we never found them. |
