Any thoughts on having the DVII featured as the Club Cobra Ride of the Month ?

Don,
When Brent posted for votes on CObra of the Month DVII started taking some hits. I thought it just better to back out and let the group decide. They obviously picked Turk's and in my opinion a job well done!

I have pictures if at a later date it is ever picked for the Monthly Ride:D

DV,
Not to belittle Turk's car, it is an awsome ride but you could post some more pics of DVII here for us to see.

Ed,

Hits??? That thing's gorgeous! Not everything we drive has to be intended to be a clone, does it? I vote for it for next month!

I missed pictures of DVII?!?!?

DV - I gotta see it! Can you post pictures or links to pictures? I just checked your site (still cobras.com?), but didn't find it.

Some Old pictures

Thank you for the kind words. Most have seen these already, but they are the only ones I have at the present time.

Bought a new computer-it crashed. Got it fixed and my now old scanner wont hook up to the new/new computer. Now the new/new computer is down..way down and I am using the shops slow computer just trying to keep up. I will post some neat pictures as soon as I can get everything up and running.

Ralph Buttons is or already has made an MPEG video of us at Putnam in October. That should be on line soon.

Here goes:

WOW!!!!

After 3 months I finally have my main computer back on line! Including my camera and all that other stuff. This picture (I hope) is just a test. If I can get my scsi card hooked up for the scanner I'll post some more.

Roll bar on DVII

DV
Your Cobra is AWESOME ! Will you have it at Carlilse this year?
About the roll bar........I'd like to install a full width RB similar to yours on my CR427. I'm not going racing, well maybe an autocross, but I want the added safety of a full width RB.
Do you make these for sale?
What I'm looking for is a full width RB with a rear support on each side AND will fit under the CR convertable top (which I haven't purchased yet). I would also like to have a horizontal cross bar primarily to establish the proper shoulder harness height.
My car is still in the building stage and the body is presently off the chassis so it would be easier to add whatever I need to the frame. I have already modified the frame by lowering the seat supports 2-1/4" and am currently working on new floorpan molds. This allows me to look through the windshield - not over it.
The roll bar is just one of a list of changes or things I want to fix on my car so I'm working on several things at once. Such as:
My car sits about 3" too high in the front-I have CR springs.
But I'd really like to install coil overs.
Tubular A arms and strut rod eliminators.
Foot well air vents.

Thanks for your help............MH
