Body prep question

Hi guys,
I met with my paint guy the other day, and he gave me what seems like a very reasonable quote for the body work and paint, especially considering my wife wants a metallic candy paint job with lemans stripes, plus "rookie" stripes.

After talking to him, I do have a question about the body prep work. What do you recommend to use to fill the seam around the cockpit where the inner tub and the outer body come together and where the lemans gas filler insert was installed? What is best, a glass reinforced filler, such as Fibral or Kitty Hair, regular old Bondo, or should I go with something like Evercoat's Vette Panel Adhesvie/Filler? He is concerned about it cracking after a few years if we use the wrong type of filler.

Thanks guys.

We use duraglass for body seems and or to fill air pockets in the gel-coat. We then will either use a skim coat of bondo or just primer surfacer depending on how close things are on our way towards guide coating the entire surface for paint prep..........................m

Professional painter-(Dupont - retired) after hundreds of Cobras I recommend "Duraglass OR Marglass. Either one works fine-gas resistant an waterproof. But, bodyman's nightmare, hard to shape and sand compared to regular filler.
