I think the guy who bought it for 5.25M overpaid. Probably the biggest selling point of the car is the Shelby owned it.
If I won some huge lottery jackpot tomorrow and had way too much money on my hands, the Super Snake would not be on my shopping list. Maybe an FIA, a Daytona Coupe, a 427 SC or 427 Competition, but not the Super Snake. |

Why buy that one? I will sell you mine for half that amount. No auction necessary.
That is crazy money if it sells for close to that amount. Imagine though the attention you would get at all the cruises and car shows you attend. None more iconic than that particular car. John |
