Help to identify

There is a red cobra on ebay for sale for $25,000. The owner does not know which kit it was. Can anyone identify it by the pictures?
Thanks,
Jim

How about a posting number? The link just goes to Ebay.

If it's the one at Replica Kit Makes 2 Door | eBay it's a Classic Roadsters Cobra. You can tell by the kink at the top leading edge of the doors.

Not a bad looking car, but it baffles me as to what they were thinking when the chopped the middle out of the hood scoop. It's certainly nothing that couldn't be fixed. BTW, if that is a Richmond 5 Speed Street transmission it will have a 1:1 5th gear (no overdrive, so it's going to rev fairly high at highway / freeway speeds with that 3.55:1 rear end.

YEP, CR's alright. My thought is he has the Torker Hi-rise intake on it instead of the "Torker 2" ! The Cobra air cleaner wont fit under the stock scoop with a standard Torker intake. Car is SOLD by the way. Wonder who go it?

Still trying to identify

For some reason I was not able to post my link, but I am trying to identify another red cobra for sale on ebay for $25,000 in New Waverly Texas. It is not the one referenced above that sold. It has a "buy it now" price of $25,000 and is currently listed under the kit cars and replicas on ebay. The owner has had it seven years, but only knows it is a fuel injected 302 engine. Can anyone tell me which company furnished the kit? I want to buy one, but need to do my homework.
Thanks,
Jim

Maybe is sold in the last 24 hours. I know the auction ended with the reserve price not met, and shortly after that I sent the seller (a dealer) an email (to email address in eBay listing), suggesting the car would sell for more $$ and/or faster if he fixed the scoop and re-painted the hood. He phoned me shortly before 3:00 PM EST yesterday and it was clear the car was not sold at that time.

BTW, the car was supposedly built in 1991, and the guy selling it says he took it on trade about a year ago. Sounds like he was driving it himself and now that he's had his fun with it he's put it up for sale.

I assume you're referring to the one listed here: Replica Kit Makes Shelby Cobra Replica | eBay

Auction closes 11:20 EST tomorrow.

That is the one

Yes, that is the one I am interested in. Any idea which kit that one is?

Definitely not a CR's. Could be a Lonestar especially from Texas. The funny part :) is he has the front bumpers on up side down. ( But, the back ones are right!)

Not a Lone Star. Wrong roll bar. Roll bar width might indicate a B & B.

It could be a B&B, but more than likely S&C Motorcars by the inside door handles from VW.
