Did you get the new alt and wiring installed? If so, how's it working for you?

Yes, Joel I ran 6 ga. wire from the 140 amp alt. to the solenoid bat. terminal, then to a 40 amp relay . Frm the relay to the fan, which is controled by thermostat. The relay is powered by 12 ga. wire from the original fan power source, if all that makes sense. It does work well, with voltage being 13-14 regardless of rpm. Thanks to everyone for your input
